Sophomore Stuart Grehan (Tullamore, Ireland-Colaiste Choilm), who tied for the best third round score with a 67, finished fifth overall, shooting a 211 (75-69-67) for three rounds at the Wolverine Intercollegiate.

Jennifer Ha, Kent State, Junior
Tournament Name: Minnesota Invitational
Scores: 215 (76-71-68)
Ha shot a 76 and 71 on day one to find herself with the lead going into Tuesday. She heated up on the final 18, shooting a tournament low 68 (-4) to cap off a seven-stroke victory with a final score of 215 (-1). Ha had two birdies and an eagle on the final nine and led the field with 13 birdies in all. Her rounds of 71 and 68 were the lowest posted by anyone in the invitational.
Luke Shaughnessy, Miami, Junior
Tournament: Wolverine Intercollegiate
Scores: 214 (73-70-71)
Luke tied for ninth at the Wolverine Intercollegiate on Tuesday, his second career top-10 finish. He shot rounds of 73, 70 and 71 to finish at one-over par on the par-71 course. His round of one-under par 70 in the second round on Monday was the second lowest round of his career.
Chris Selfridge, Toledo, Junior
Tournament Name: Wolverine Intercollegiate
Scores: 214 (73-70-71)
Junior Chris Selfridge was Toledo’s top individual at this week’s Wolverine Intercollegiate by tying for ninth place at one-over par 214 (73-70-71) for the 13th Top 10 showing of his career. Selfridge leads the Rockets this season with a 72.2 stroke average
Chris Melvin, Bowling Green, Senior
Tournament Name: John Piper Intercollegiate
Scores: 214 (71-71-72)
Chris Melvin, who was the lone senior that played in the tournament for BGSU, shot his second-best 54-hole score in his Falcon career. Melvin carded a third round even-par 72, giving him a tournament total of 2-under (214).
Tyler Merkel, Ball State, Senior
Tournament Name: Golfweek COnference Challenge
Scores: 213 (69-72-72)
Tyler Merkel tied for fifth place at this week’s Golfweek Conference Challenge at Spirit Hollow Golf Course in Burlington, Iowa. The tournament’s strong 15-team field included 12 teams that finished last season ranked among the top 100 in the country and nine that played in NCAA Regionals. Merkel held at least a share of the lead after both the first and second rounds thanks to a 3-under par 69 on day one and an even-par 72 on day two. He closed with another 72 to post the 12th top-5 finish of his career. With a three-day total of 3-under par 213, Merkel lowered his career stroke average to 73.40, which is on pace to break the school record.\
Jenna Hague, Ball State, Junior
Tournament Name: Cardinal Cup
Scores 218 (73-73-72)
Jenna Hague backed up her season-opening win at the Redbird Invitational with a tie for sixth place at this week’s Cardinal Cup hosted by Louisville. She was steady all week, posting rounds of 73, 73 and 72 at The Cardinal Club in Simpsonville, Ky. Her 54-hole total of 2-over par 218 was the third lowest in Ball State history and came just one week after she matched the school record of 213. The Cardinal Cup featured a strong field with seven of the 13 competing teams finishing last season ranked among the top 115 nationally. Through two events this year, Hague’s 72.17 scoring average is nearly three strokes ahead of school-record pace.
Kelsey Murphy, Eastern Michigan, Freshman
Tournament: Mary Fossum Invitational (East Lansing, Mich.)
In her first collegiate tournament, Eastern Michigan University freshman Kelsey Murphy (Plymouth, Mich.-Plymouth) recorded a top-15 showing, finishing in a tie for 14th place, at the 30th Annual Mary Fossum Invitational on the par 72, 6,348-yard Forest Akers West Golf Course, Sept. 14-15. Competing against some of the region's best golfers, the highly acclaimed Plymouth, Mich. native carded a 77 in the final round to finish with a 226 (74-75-77). Murphy became the first EMU freshman since Catherine Fortin to lead the squad in scoring during the opening tournament of the season. Fortin fired at 237 (79-79-79) to finish in a tie for 29th place at the Notre Dame Invitational, Sept. 4-5, 2004.
Bailey Arnold, Bowling Green, Senior
Tournament Name: Great Smokies Intercollegiate
Scores: 147 (79-68)
Arnold fired a career-low round of 4-under 68 in her final round of the Great Smokies Intercollegiate. For the tournament, Arnold finished with a 3-over 147 (79-68), improving by 11 strokes on the second day.
Samantha Coyne, Northern Illinois, Sophomore
Tournament Name: Cougar Classic
Scores: 153 (75-78)
Samantha Coyne posted her first career top-10 finish when she placed eighth at the 2013 Cougar Classic hosted by Chicago State at Harborside International Golf Center. Coyne fired a career low 75 in the first round before shooting a final round 78 to lead the Huskies to a seventh-place finish, the first top-finish of the season.
