Updated 2/14/2013

Men's Golfer of the Week:
McCormick Clouser, Ball State
Sophomore, Bluffton, Ind. (Norwell)
McCormick Clouser posted a perfect 3-0 record at this week's Mid-American Match play to help Ball State to a runner-up finish as a team. The sophomore transfer, playing in his first event as a Cardinal, saw only one of his matches go all the way to the final hole. He won the last hole of that match in the championship round to claim a 2-up victory over Bowling Green's Chris Melvin. Clouser needed only 16 holes to defeat his previous two opponents, posting a pair of 3-and-2 victories over Ohio's Mike Engleman and Eastern Michigan's Brian Burt. Clouser helped Ball State defeat both Ohio and Eastern Michigan, 4.5 to 1.5, before the Cardinals fell in the championship match to Bowling Green, 3.5 to 2.5. The tournament included eight Mid-American Conference teams and was played on the par-72, 7,153-yard South Course at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club in Dade City, Fla.

 Other Nominees:

Mark was 3-0 in the Mid-American Match Play this week. He won both of his matches on Monday, taking a 3 and 1 win in the morning and a 4 and 2 victory in the afternoon. On Tuesday he fell behind his opponent from Toledo by four holes after eight were completed. He would come all the way back to win his match 1UP and complete the perfect week.
