Akron (18-4, 9-0 MAC) at Miami (8-13, 3-6 MAC)
1 p.m. ET • Series tied 24-24
•  Akron’s 9-0 start is the best in program history since joining the MAC during the 1992-93 campaign. The 9-0 start is the first by any team in the league since 1983-84 [Miami (Ohio)]. Akron’s 14-game winning streak is the longest active winning streak in the nation and tied for the third-longest by any program this season. It is also the Zips’ first win streak of 14 or more games since the 1972-73 season (14-straight). During their 14-game winning streak, the Zips are out-scoring their opponents by 15.2 points/game and hold a +10.4 rebounding advantage. UA is shooting 46.6 percent and has held at least a share of the lead for 451:38 out of the last 560:00 minutes (80.6 percent)...The RedHawks have lost five of their last six contests and are 5-5 at home (1-4 in league play). Two RedHawks are averaging double figures in the scoring column, including Allen Roberts (12.9 ppg) and Will Felder (11.7 ppg). Felder is the team’s leading rebounder (5.6 ppg).

• The Bulls are 8-15 overall and 3-6 in the MAC after losing at Eastern Michigan, 65-46, on Wednesday night. Javon McCrea led the Bulls with 15 points and nine rebounds. Will Regan added 12 points for UB ...The Huskies are coming off a 57-41 loss to BGSU on Wednesday night. Abdel Nader is averaging 19.0 points and 10.0 rebounds over the last three games. Last time out against Bowling Green, Nader fell just two rebounds shy of his third consecutive double-double. 
Bowling Green (9-13, 4-5 MAC) at Ohio (9-10, 5-3 MAC)
2 p.m. ET • Bowling Green leads series 71-62

•  Last time out, Ohio held its opponent to season lows in points (42) and field goal percentage (.265) in a 69-42 win at Ball State Wednesday (Feb. 6). Senior guard Walter Offutt led Ohio with 17 points and posted a season-high four steals...The Falcons have won two-straight and defeated Northern Illinois, 57-41, last time out on Wednesday. Senior A’uston Calhoun led the team with 15 points and 12 rebounds against the Huskies. Calhoun leads Bowling Green on the season with 15.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game (third-best in MAC).
Western Michigan (15-7, 7-2 MAC) at Ball State (8-13, 2-7 MAC)

• The Cardinals are looking to bounce back from a tough stretch in which they have lost seven of their past eight games. Majok Majok, who leads the MAC and ranks 13th nationally in rebounding, is one of 15 players in the country averaging a double-double at 12.2 points and 10.3 rebounds per game... WMU rides into Muncie on a seven-game winning streak and leads the MAC West Division at 15-7 overall (7-2 MAC). Shayne Whittington leads the Broncos with 12.8 points per game and ranks second in the league in rebounding at 8.4 boards per game.
Central Michigan (9-13, 2-7 MAC) at Kent State (12-11, 3-6 MAC)
7 p.m. ET • Kent State leads series 42-29

• Kent State’s two seniors, Chris Evans (16.7 ppg) & Randal Holt (14.0 ppg), combine to average 30.7 points per game, which accounts for 44.0 percent of the Golden Flashes’ scoring and is the 3rd highest-scoring duo in the MAC.  Evans is the only player to rank among the top 10 in the MAC in scoring, rebounding, field goal percentage, steals, and minutes played....After opening Mid-American Conference play with home a win over Bowling Green, Central Michigan has dropped seven of its last eight games, including five in a row. CMU’s Kyle Randall is third in the MAC at 17.1 points per game, just ahead of Kent State’s Evans at 16.7.
Eastern Michigan (11-11, 4-4 MAC) at Toledo (10-10, 6-3 MAC)
7 p.m. ET • Toledo leads series 46-43

• Toledo looks to extend its longest league win streak in the last six years when it hosts MAC West Division foe Eastern Michigan on Saturday. UT features two of the MAC’s top scorers with junior G Rian Pearson pacing the league at 18.1 ppg and sophomore G Julius Brown in ninth place at 13.9 ppg. Eastern Michigan Senior G Derek Thompson comes off the bench to lead the Eagles with 11.0 ppg and also has a team-high 48 three-point field goals. Junior F Glenn Bryant is EMU’s only other double-digit scorer with 10.2 ppg, including 17 points, five rebounds and four blocks in Wednesday’s win over the Bulls.
