•  With a win, Ohio will move to 7-1 in MAC play for the first time since the 1998-99 season and 3-1 in conference road games for the first time since 2001-02. Senior guard D.J. Cooper paces Ohio with 14.5 points and a league-best 8.0 assists per game... During the game, Cooper moved past Anthony Manuel (Bradley) and Grayson Marshall (Clemson) for 19th place on the all-time NCAA Division I assists list. Cooper, who is third in the country with 8.0 assists per game, now has 861 for his career...Ball State enters the game at 8-12 (2-6 MAC) after a 70-59 loss Saturday at Bowling Green. For the season, a trio of Cardinals leads the team offensively with remarkably similar offensive production. Scaife is scoring 13.0 points per game, followed closely by Berry at 12.9 and junior forward Majok Majok at 12.6.

• Eastern Michigan is 10-11 overall and 3-4 in the MAC. The Eagles are coming off a 77-62 loss at Kent State on Saturday night. Eastern Michigan is led by Derek Thompson who is averaging 11.5 points per game... The Bulls come into the contest tied for third place in the MAC East Division with a 3-5 conference record. Buffalo is 8-14 overall and has seen significant production from forward Javon McCrea who is leading the Bulls in both points (17.3) and rebounds (7.5). Will Regan is shooting 43.3 percent from beyond the arc while averaging 10.2 points for UB.
 
Miami (8-12, 3-5 MAC) at Toledo (9-10, 5-3 MAC)

•  The Rockets are in second place in the MAC’s West Division and trail first-place Western Michigan by one game. UT features two of the MAC’s top scorers with junior G Rian Pearson pacing the league at 18.2 ppg and sophomore G Julius Brown in ninth place at 13.7 ppg. Pearson and Brown are the MAC’s top scoring tandem at 31.9 ppg....The RedHawks snapped a four-game losing skid with Saturday night’s 70-61 road win over Central Michigan.Junior G Allen Roberts, who has come off the bench the last two games, leads Miami in scoring with 12.8 ppg and has a team-high 36 three-point field goals. Junior F Will Felder is averaging 11.8 ppg and a team-best 5.5 rpg in his first season.
 
Kent State (12-10, 3-5 MAC) at Western Michigan (14-7, 6-2 MAC)

• The Golden Flashes ended a four-game losing streak with a 77-62 home victory over Eastern Michigan on Feb. 2. Kent State’s two seniors, Chris Evans (16.5 ppg) & Randal Holt (13.9 ppg), combine to average 30.4 points per game, which accounts for 43.7 percent of the Golden Flashes’ scoring and is the 3rd highest-scoring duo in the Mid-American Conference this season...Western Michigan boasts three double-digit scorers with size in 6-foot-10 junior Shayne Whittington (12.4), 6-7 senior Nate Hutcheson (11.0) and 6-8 freshman Darius Paul (10.9). A 71-60 home win over Buffalo extended the Broncos’ current winning streak to six games. Their only conference losses were at Akron (65-43) and at home to Ohio (61-59) to open the MAC season.
 
Bowling Green (8-13, 3-5 MAC) at Northern Illinois (5-15, 3-5 MAC)

•  Bowling Green’s bench scored 38 points and the Falcons led wire-to-wire for a 70-59 victory over Ball State Saturday afternoon in the Stroh Center. Jordon Crawford came off the bench for 19 points, eight assists and two steals, while A’uston Calhoun had 17 points and six rebounds in a starting role. BG’s JorCrawford and Calhoun are the second-highest scoring duo in the MAC, averaging 31.5 points per contest... NIU Sophomore Abdel Nader was named Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week on Feb. 4, following his performances against Kent State and Toledo. Nader averaged 22.5 points and 11.0 rebounds for the week, recording double-doubles in both contests, the first two double-doubles of his career.
