Miami (6-5, 0-0 MAC) vs Nevada (5-5, 0-0 MWC)

Caribbean Classic • Cancun, Mexico
•  The Miami University women’s basketball team will make history this week when it plays games outside of the United States for the first time. The RedHawks will travel to Cancun, Mexico to participate in the Caribbean Classic, Dec. 21-22. On Friday, Miami will face Creighton at 3:30 p.m. (CST). On Saturday, the ‘Hawks will take on Nevada at 1 p.m. (CST). There will be no Miami audio broadcast of the games, but live stats are available.
 
Northern Illinois (4-5, 0-0 MAC) vs Illinois-Chicago (2-7, 0-0 Horizon)
2 PM • Northern Illinois leads 26-15
•   Both teams come in looking to buck downward trends. The Huskies snapped a streak of back-to-back losses with a 48-38 home win over Eastern Illinois Wednesday night, but have lost four of their last six games. UIC has lost six of its last seven contests with the win coming against Roosevelt (90-67) at home. The Flames enter this game after a 66-52 road loss at Bradley Tuesday night.  The Huskies are looking to get back to .500 for the third time this season. NIU was also .500 or better from Nov. 17-27 and Nov. 30-Dec. 3.  With this game, the Huskies begin a season long five-game road trip. Featuring five games in four states from Dec. 22 - Jan. 10, NIU will travel over 3,100 miles on the trip. NIU is 15-14 at home under Bennett and 15-25 elsewhere.
