Aaron Sulzer, Eastern Michigan—Senior, Cleveland, Ohio (Holy Name High School)
Eastern Michigan senior Aaron Sulzer went 2-0 at the Michigan Tri-Meet on Dec. 8 to improve his record to 9-4 and 6-3 in regular-season duals. After starting the dual-meet season 0-3, Sulzer has stormed back with six consecutive wins including a pair against top-25 teams. His first win Saturday came by way of fall against Duke's Andrew DeHart at the 2:15 mark during Eastern Michigan's 30-9 rout of the Blue Devils. Sulzer cashed in three points for the Eagles against No. 14 Michigan when he recorded an 8-5 decision over Michael Carpenter.

Nick Smith, Northern Illinois—Junior, Ida, Mich.
Northern Illinois junior Nick Smith made his season debut last Saturday with a convincing 8-2 win over Michigan State's Brandon Fifield in the annual Northern Illinois Showcase Meet. After missing the first month of the season with a shoulder injury, the junior came out firing with multiple takedowns in the opening minutes and coasted to his first win of the year.
David Bonin, Northern Iowa—Senior, Broussard, La. (Comeaux High School)
Northern Iowa senior David Bonin recorded three major decisions en route to winning the Northern Iowa Open at 157 pounds in Cedar Falls, Iowa, last weekend. Bonin is a returning NCAA national qualifier. He was 5-0 for the day. He hasn’t competed in the MAC conference yet. His overall record is 14-3.
