Akron (4-1, 0-0 MAC) at St. Peters (0-4, 0-0 MAAC)
7 PM • Akron trails 2-1
• After a six day hiatus, Akron surprised Providence out of the Big East with a come-from-behind victory on the road, 81-78. The Zips never led in the first half and were down by as many as 14 before fighting back to tie the score at 37 before halftime.  Junior guard Hanna Luburgh emerged with another breakout performance against the Friars, scoring 18 of her game-high 28 points in the first half on 6-of-10 shooting from the field. In UA’s last two games, Luburgh has averaged 29.0 points.  The last time Akron was 4-1 was in 2010-11 when it dropped its season-opener to IPFW before going on to win the next four straight games.
