CMU Women’s Soccer to Face Michigan in the NCAA Tournament

MOUNT PLEASANT - The Central Michigan women’s soccer team will be in the NCAA Tournament for the third time in four seasons as they face in-state foe Michigan in the first round as an at-large bid, the NCAA revealed Monday afternoon as it announced the full tournament bracket.

The first-round match between the Chippewas (15-6-1) and the Wolverines (14-5-2) will take place between November 9 and November 11 in Ann Arbor, Mich. The NCAA has not yet announced the final date and time of the match. Full details and an in-depth match preview will follow on CMUChippewas.com

The Chippewas are the first team in conference history to earn an at-large bid to the tournament. They join MAC Tournament Champion Miami (Ohio) in the field.
