Cleveland, Ohio
- Just wrapped up MAC Football Social Media Road Tour Stop #8 and it was nice for me to get back to get my alma mater. The Falcons won their third game in a row in front of a very nice crowd at Doyt Perry Stadium. Below are the comments from our social correspondents that attended the Miami v. Bowling Green game. Be sure to follow @ExperienceMAC for all of the latest as the tour continues.

Next Stop: Army at Eastern Michigan (Oct. 20)

First and foremost I would like to thank the Mid-American Conference for this amazing opportunity. The experience today was something that I will never forget, and can use to improve myself as a fan and aspiring sport professional. Seeing the game from so many new angles really provided great insight into college athletics and the behind the scene activities. My favorite part was probably the press box, as we were able to see the other sport professionals doing what they do best, while experiencing the game from their perspective. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone interested in sport at any capacity; you will learn so many things no matter how much you already know about the game. It is an experience of a lifetime and I would call someone crazy for not going after this opportunity, thanks again MAC!

Thanks to the MAC first off for this awesome experience! Getting the chance to see a football game from a different aspect is a great chance. I always watch the games from the stands or on the television, and getting the chance to sit in the press box and being able to be on the field was sweet and something I will never forget. My favorite part of the day was getting to sit through the press conference and hear what the coaches and players had to say about the big win. It was fun to see what the questions were and how excited all the players were. I would tell people to apply for this experience because as a Sport Management Major it gets you a preview of what life after college could be like. Also it shows you what you can get into as a specialization or a minor that you might need. Thanks to the MAC for this opportunity!

The MAC Social Media Tour was an unbelievable experience. I feel so lucky to have been chosen for this opportunity. The day begins with the chance to view the pregame warm ups on the field, then continue on to the press box to watch the game, and finally going to the post game press conference. This experience was a great chance to view the game through the eyes of the media as opposed to viewing it just as a fan. I had the ability to learn more about what goes on in the press box and how a press conference is run. As a sport management major, the Social Media Tour was a great chance for me to expand my knowledge of media and event management. I would recommend applying for this opportunity if given the chance. It was an experience I will never forget. Thank you so much to the MAC Conference and to Jeremy Guy for this once in a lifetime opportunity.
