Curtis helps US to Amateur Title

Former Kent State University all-American Ben Curtis helped the United States team to a 16-stroke victory at the World Team Amateur Championships in Berlin, Germany. Curtis finished tied for sixth with rounds of 71-73-73-70=287.

Kent State senior Jon Mills (Brooklin, Ontario/Centennial) tied for 66th individually with rounds of 68-76-74-80=298. Canada finished in 10th place.

Georgia Tech senior Bryce Molder took the individual honors, while helping his team lap the field. The United States brings home the Eisenhower Trophy for only the second time in 18 years.
