BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -- Lionel Bomayako scored 14 of his 17 points in the first half and Fairleigh Dickinson connected on 14 more free throws in a 74-68 non-conference
game win Saturday.
Chris Ewke added 17 points and 13 rebounds while LeMarque Ward added 15 points and eight rebounds for Fairleigh, who led 43-32 at halftime.
Buffalo mounted a second-half comeback with Robert Brown and Damien Foster combining for 13 points as the Bulls (0-2) went on a 17-10 run to open the second half.
FDU (2-1) held Buffalo without a basket until the 8:45 mark, and although the Bulls would get within three points twice more in the second half, they never were able to make up
the lead. Both coaches thought that stretch was the key to the game.
