Sovesky was a co-medalist at the Sprinklake Classic witha score of 144 (72-72). She led the Bobcat squad to the team title as well. It marked the second time this season that she has won medalist honors.

Other Top Performances
Heather Dobbin (Kent, So., Pertersborough, Ontarion) shot a career-low round of 72 in the first round of the Lady Aztec Invitational. She tied for ninth place overall with a score of 150.

Veronque Drouin (Kent, Fr., St. Anges, Quebec) scored a career-low round of 72 in the final round of the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational on March 13-14. She had the second low round of the day to left Kent to a second-place finish as a team.

Katie Jordan (Toledo, Jr., Rushville, Ind.) led the Rockets with a 15th-place fnish. She shot a two-round score of 161 (73-88).

Keli Higgins (Toledo, So., Grand Rapids, Mich.) was Toledo's top finisher at the Springlake Classic. She scored 156 on two rounds to tie for 15th place.

Nicole Chamberlin (Western Michigan, Fr., Ft. Wayne, Ind.) earned the Broncos' team medalist honors for the first time shooting a career-low round of 78 at the Sprinklake Classic.

Team Notes
Kent opened the season with a win at the Cardinal Collegiate Classic and placed second at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational. Jan Dowling has won three of her last four tournaments for the Golden Flashes.

Kent's top five starters all have sub-80 averages. The squad scored its third top-five finish of the spring season with a fifth-place finish at the Lady Aztec Invitational.

Western Michigan will host the inaugural Bronco Invitational April 9-10 at the Moors Golf Club in Portage. The squad wraps up the season at the MAC Championship on April 28-30 ... The Broncos are lead by rookies Erica Bieniek (83.6) and Katie Yoder (84.2) ... Nicole Chamberlin is the fourth WMU freshman to record team medalist honors this season.
