CLEVELAND, Ohio (December 15) -- Kent senior Brian Baughman has been honored as the Pepsi Mid-American Conference Wrestler of the Week for the second week of the season.
A 133-lb. wrestler from Coshocton, Ohio, Baughman earned a close 9-8 victory over Appalachian State's David Hopper and also registered a pin of Duquesne's Kevin Gray in 3:47. Baughman improved his record to 9-1, including a 3-1 mark in matches decided by a fall. He also serves as team captain for the Golden Flashes.

Eastern Michigan's Mike Feeney (174 lb., Jr., Dublin, Ohio) defended his title at the Ohio Northern Invitational with a pin and technical fall among his four matches. He is currently 12-4 on the season.
Ohio's Shane Hartzler (141, Jr., Orrville, Ohio) won two matches to improve to 9-1 as the Bobcats beat Binghamton and Ithaca College.
