Five MAC Players Named to Sporting News All-American Teams

Five Mid-American Conference players were named to the Sporting News All-American Teams. Miami Senior running back Travis Prentice was named Sporting News Second-Team All-American. Heisman finalist Chad Pennington was named Third Team All-American along with teammate, senior free safety Rogers Beckett and Toledo senior tackle Colin Westrich. Wide Receiver, Jammarl O'Neal of Central Michigan, was named to The Sporting News All-Freshman Third Team.
