Bowling Green redshirt sophomore Kristin Gamby is this weeks MAC Offensive Player of the Week. In two matches, Gamby averaged 5.86 kills per game and hit .500 (41-8-66) leading the Falcons to wins over Buffalo and Northern Illinois. The middle hitter, who entered the weekend with 20 career kills, had 15 kills against the Bulls, then had a career-high 26 versus the Huskies to go with a .524 attack percentage, bettering her prior best kill total of six. In addition, Gamby averaged 0.71 digs and 0.57 blocks per game.

MAC Co-Defensive Players of the Week
Megan Hammons, Ball State (Jr., OA)

Ball State junior outside attack Megan Hammons shares this weeks MAC Defensive Player of the Week honors with Bowling Greens Caty Rommeck. Hammons averaged 3.83 digs, 1.00 blocks and 0.42 aces per game, helping the Cardinals to road wins over Miami, Ohio and Akron. Hammons had five blocks versus the RedHawks to go with a career-high four aces, 18 digs and three blocks against the Bobcats and 24 digs and four blocks against the Zips. In addition, Hammons also averaged 4.75 kills per game.

For the third time this season, Bowling Greens Caty Rommeck is honored as the MAC Defensive Player of the Week, sharing the honor with Ball States Megan Hammons. Rommeck, who helped the Falcons to wins over Buffalo and Northern Illinois, averaged 2.14 blocks and 2.57 digs per contest. The junior middle had six blocks and four digs versus the Bulls, then had nine blocks and 14 digs against the Huskies. Rommeck also averaged 4.29 kills per game and hit .400 (30-4-65).
