OXFORD, Ohio (AP)(Oct. 14) - Mike Bath passed for 210 yards and ran for a pair of second-half touchdowns as Miami University pulled away to a 24-10
victory Oct. 14 over Bowling Green.
Miami (4-3, 3-2 Mid-American Conference) trailed 7-0 before Bath finally got its offense rolling. He scrambled 27 yards for a touchdown that tied it at 7 with
2:37 left in the third quarter.
After Bowling Green (1-6, 1-3) regained the lead on Mike Knapp's 19-yard field goal, Bath scored another touchdown on a 1-yard draw for the RedHawks' first
lead of the game.
The two rushing touchdowns were a career high for Bath, who also completed 23-of-41 for 210 yards.
Andy Brumbergs kicked a 23-yard field goal that stretched Miami's lead to 17-10 midway through the fourth quarter, and Steve Little broke a 51-yard touchdown
run that cinched it with 1:19 to play.
Little rushed for a career-high 149 yards on 25 carries.
Andy Sahm completed 15-of-34 for 216 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown pass to Andre Pinchem in the first quarter. Sahm also threw a pair of interceptions.
