Bowling Green Sweeps MAC Volleyball Honors This Week

After twice being named the MAC Defensive Player of the Week, Bowling Greens Caty Rommeck is this weeks Offensive Player of the Week after averaging 6.0 kills per game and hitting .416 (48-11-89). Rommeck, who paced the Falcons to wins over Kent State and Marshall, had a match- and career-high 29 kills against the Golden Flashes to go with 12 digs and two blocks, then added 19 kills, nine digs and six blocks in a victory over the Thundering Herd. In addition, Rommeck also averaged 2.63 digs and 1.00 blocks per contest.

For the second time this season, Bowling Green freshman Susie Norris is this weeks MAC Defensive Player of the Week after averaging 5.88 digs per games in a pair of Falcon wins over Kent State and Marshall. Norris, who has registered 20-plus digs in four of her last five matches, had a match-high 27 digs in a win over Kent State to go with 15 kills, then had 20 digs against Marshall.
