CLEVELAND (Nov. 4) -- The Mid-American Conference honored its top players in field
hockey by naming the All-MAC first and second teams at the MAC tournament in
Muncie, Ind.
Kent State University and Ohio University both had five players named to
the teams, while Ball State and Louisville had four players honored.
Central Michigan and Miami both had one player named to the first team and
one player named to the second team.
The Player of the Year, Freshman of
the Year and Coach of the Year will be announced on Saturday after the
championship match.
