Boise State Beats Central Michigan, 47-10

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP)(Sept. 23) - Bart Hendricks threw three touchdown passes and Boise State had 516 total yards as the Broncos beat Central Michigan 47-10 on Sept. 23.

Coming off a 38-31 loss at Arkansas, Boise (3-1) rolled to a 34-3 halftime lead against the Chippewas (1-3).

Hendricks threw two TD passes in the first half, the second going to Brock Forsey with 35 seconds left in the second quarter.

The Chippewas' only touchdown came on Derrick Vickers' 31-yard pass to Eric Salani with 10:28 left to play.

Hendricks was 13-of-21 for 195 yards, and ran six times for 62 yards.

Forsey also ran for a 1-yard touchdown in the second quarter and finished with a game-high 74 yards on 17 carries. David Mikell added 59 yards on nine carries as Boise finished with 270 yards on the ground.

The Broncos defense held Central to 268 net offensive yards. Pete Shepherd completed 15-of-22 passes for 137 yards, and Vince Webber gained 36 yards on 14 carries.
