Helen Jerden

Glasgow, Scotland

Helen Jerden led the Golden Flashes with four goals over the weekend as Kent is now tied for first place in the MAC and in the midst of a seven-game winning streak. Against Miami, the freshmand back had her second hat trick of the season, scoring three of the four Kent goals. She continued her scoring when she put Kent up 1-0 three minutes into the game against Louisville. The Golden Flashes went on to beat Louisville 3-1. Jerden is currently fifth in the conference in points (30), sixth in assists (8) and fourth in goals scored (11).

Courtney Seyferth (Miami, Sr., F, Ann Arbor, Michigan)
Scored all three RedHawk goals this weekend as Miami avenged a loss earlier in the season to #19 Ohio. Two goals in one game is a career-high for Seyferth.

Sally Northcroft (Ball State, Sr., F, Hararre, Zimbabwe)
Scored four goals, including game-winner, against Central Michigan in 6-1 victory. Her 46 goals are tied for second all-time on the NCAA single-season goals scoring list.

Meg Lewis (Central Michigan, Sr., MF, Lancaster, NY)

The last regular-season contest for Ohio and Kent will be played for at least a share of the MAC regular-season championship. The winner is guaranteed, at the worst, to be tied for the championship with Ball State if Ball State can go 2-0 over the weekend.

Sally Northcroft had her 13th multiple-goal game of the year ... if Ball State can go 2-0 this weekend they will claim a share of their 16th regular-season MAC championship ... Head Coach Karen Fitzpatrick will be inducted in the Ball State Hall of Fame this week.

Has only been shutout once this season, scoring at least one goal in 14 of 15 contests.

Will look to avenge a 3-2 (OT) loss to Central Michigan on Oct.29 ... led on offense by Tonya Harrison with 14 points.

Has outscored MAC opponents 32-6 in seven conference victories ... Maggie Downey moved into second place all-time on Kent's career points list (151 points).

Has won three of their last four contests after winning only three of their first 12 games ... Courtney Seyferth scored two goals on two shots to lead Miami over #19 Ohio 2-1.

Ranked 15th in the NCAA poll and 19th in the STX/NFHCA poll last week ... five-game winning streak snapped by Miami 2-1 ... Will battle Kent on Oct. 29 for at least a share of the MAC regular-season championship ... Jen Watts now leads the Bobcats with 11 goals after scoring two over the weekend.

Central Michigan beat Lousiville who beat Miami who beat Ohio who beat Kent who beat Ball State who has a victory over everyone in the conference.
