ATHENS, Ohio (AP) (September 16, 2000) -- Dontrell Jackson threw two touchdown passes as Ohio beat Tennessee Tech 52-14 on Saturday night.
Ohio compiled 597 yards in total offense, 429 on the ground, and set a team record
with 38 first downs.
Jackson threw a 12-yard TD pass to Chris Knaack and an 11-yarder to Joe Mohler, both in the second quarter, as the Bobcats (2-1) took a 31-0 lead at

Tennessee Tech did not score until the third quarter, when Brian Jackson caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Grant Swallows. Derek Lee caught an 11-yard
TD pass from Michael Peebles in the fourth.
Jamel Patterson led Ohio with 100 yards rushing on 10 carries, including a 1-yard TD run. Whiz White had 82 yards on 12 carries and Keland Logan rushed for
73 yards on 11 carries, including a 4-yard touchdown. Jackson was 10-of-13 for 157 yards and gained 50 yards on seven carries.
Tennessee Tech was led by Nick Solomon, who had 39 yards on seven carries. Steveland Sills had three receptions for 33 yards.
