Jenn Watt

Delta, British Columbia

Jenn Watt contributed on four of the five Bobcat goals over the weekend with seven points. She scored both game-winners in victories over Ball State (3-2) and Central Michigan (2-1 OT). She also scored the first goal and assisted on the second in the victory against Ball State to help Ohio beat the Cardinals for the first time since 1990. With this week's offensive production, Watt is now tied for fifth in the conference in goals (9) and ninth in points (19). She was also chosen as the Hockeypoint Division I National Player of the Week.


Marie Vaughn (Miami, So., GK, Davis, Calif.)
Had two shutouts over the weekend against Lousiville (1-0 OT) and SW Missouri State (3-0).

Inge Corten (Kent, Fr., F, Nijmegen, The Netherlands)
Had two goals and one assist over the weekend for five points. Scored the game-winner against Ball State in overtime.

Crystal Smith (Central Michigan, Sr., MF, Lancaster, NY)
Scored two goals this week for four points. Her second goal of the week forced Ohio into overtime.


Sally Northcroft had her 12th multiple-goal game of the year when she scored two goals against Ohio and continues to lead the country in scoring with 42 goals and 85 points ... Ball State hasn't lost two MAC games in one season since 1992 (6-2).

After losing 2-1 in overtime, the Chippewas have now played in five contests decided by one goal going 2-3 in those games ... CMU was swept by Ohio this season for the first time since 1992.

The Cardinals gave up only one goal this week ... Louisville is led by Tonya Harrison with 14 points and Susan Sattazahn with five goals on the season.

Has a 13-game winning streak at home ... has outscoredMAC opponents 25-4 in five conference victories ... four of the top seven points leaders in the MAC are Golden Flashes.

The RedHawks lead the conference with five shutouts ... led on offense by Beth Young with 16 points ... Marie Vaughn moved into eighth place on Miami's shutouts list.

The Bobcats snapped Ball State's 64-game regular season MAC winning streak 3-2 on Oct. 15 ... Ohio is now 2-1 against ranked MAC opponents ... the Bobcats broke their 1985 record for MAC victories (5) in a season with six ... their victory over Ball State was chosen as the Hockeypoint National Game of the Week.

Kent has won five games in a row ... Miami has won two games in a row ... Ohio has won four matches in a row and has played in nine contests in a row decided by one goal ... Ball State has lost two games in a row ... Central Michigan has lost seven games in a row ... Louisville has lost four MAC contests in a row.
